Greg Williams - Plastic Surgeon London
Greg Williams was educated in the West Indies and Canada before pursuing a surgical career in the UK. He trained as a general surgeon in London and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1995.
He specialised in Plastic Surgery working in a number of teaching hospitals in London before being awarded the Fellowship in Plastic Surgery (FRCS Plast.). During his plastic surgery training he became interested in caring for people with burns injuries and spent a year as a fellow at the Shriners Hospital in Texas, USA - one of the premier burns units in the world. He is now a Consultant Plastic and Burns Surgeon at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in Central London.
He is entered on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery, has published in the internal medical literature and has presented at national and international meetings. He is also actively involved in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
As a consequence of dealing with patients with severe burns, Mr Williams not only specialises in all forms of scar revision surgery, but he has also developed a special interest in hair restoration surgery, both for scarred scalps and for hereditary male pattern baldness.
He trained in Brazil with one of the foremost hair restoration surgeons in the world before joining London Plastic Surgery Associates.
