Reconstructive Surgery
Reconstructive procedures are undertaken where abnormalities in the structure of the body have occurred. These abnormalities might be due to congenital (birth) defects, developmental defects, trauma, disease, infection and tumours. The operations in this field are widely diverse and completely dependent upon specific cases.
At LPSA, our surgeons are fully trained reconstructive surgeons and to determine the precise procedure for a patient, they look at each case on an individual basis. Naturally, all cases carry an element of risk and uncertainty. Some of the deformities or abnormalities in this field are given below, but please ensure that you contact the team and make an appointment to discuss your case.
- Facial deformity reconstruction
- Trauma reconstruction
- Skin malignancy surgery / sentinel node biopsy
- Breast reconstruction
- Oculo-plastic surgery
- Microsurgery
